Visitors choose when to start
The plugin initially shows a local load button. It loads Snakk when a visitor chooses to. For browser voice, they then start the call and grant microphone permission.

Choose and maintain the agent’s knowledge in Snakk. The plugin connects your site to that agent; it does not automatically import all your WordPress content.

Configure the plugin in WordPress without adding a Snakk widget to every Elementor section.
Remove previous Snakk scripts from HTML widgets, Custom Code, your theme and tag manager to avoid duplicate setups.
Test the published page outside the editor. Check mobile layouts, keyboard access and whether cookie banners or sticky buttons cover chat.

A PRACTICAL START
Set up Snakk for WordPress / Elementor
Ask Snakk about access to the test build and try it on a staging site first. An administrator uploads the plugin ZIP and activates it in WordPress.
Open Settings → Snakk AI. Copy only the public agent ID from Snakk. Do not paste API keys, secrets or scripts.
Enable the chosen feature in Snakk and add your site’s exact hostname to the allowed domains. Add the staging hostname separately if needed.
Choose AI chat or browser voice in the plugin. Enable Snakk and save. Configure chat appearance and its final position in Snakk.
Remove older Snakk embeds from your theme, page builder and tag manager. Clear caches and test a public page on mobile and desktop.

Can we install it from WordPress.org today?
The plugin is in development. This page shows the current build and local testing, not an approved directory listing. Request a demo to discuss test access and next steps.
Are chat and voice combined in one widget?
No. The current build uses separate Snakk widgets and lets you choose one: AI chat or browser voice. Browser voice does not provide a phone number or enable AI telephone answering.
Do we need to put an API key in WordPress?
No. The plugin takes a public agent ID, not a secret API key. An administrator must enable it, and allowed domains are configured in Snakk. This does not replace other access controls or testing.
What is sent to Snakk?
The plugin does not contact Snakk until the visitor presses the load button. Loading shares network information. Opening chat can send information including the page address and browser details. Messages and audio are processed when those features are used. Explain this in your site’s privacy information.
Does it work with Elementor and block themes?
The plugin uses WordPress hooks without a page-builder dependency. Local tests cover Elementor, classic themes and block themes. Your combination of theme, plugins, caching and consent tools still needs testing.
Does it import WordPress content or bookings?
No. It connects to a configured Snakk agent. Automatic content import, WooCommerce order lookups and bookings are not included simply by installing the plugin. Those tasks require separately verified connections.
Do we need Elementor Pro, and can we choose specific pages?
The current plugin build does not require Elementor Pro. It loads globally on public pages with the required WordPress hooks and has no per-page display rules. Manual embedding through Elementor is a different method and does not automatically gain the plugin’s local load button.
